Bishop Damion Bennett arrives in Nigeria with a passion to preach the Kingdom Gospel of Jesus Christ. Dr. Damion Saint Christopher Bennett has emerged with a passion to unapologetically preach the gospel of the Kingdom of God. He has been mandated by God to preach the restoration of the dominance of man on earth, therefore leading a generation into their dominion power.
An American citizen born in the beautiful island of Jamaica, West Indies and raised by his Jamaican grandparents,
Bishop Damion Bennett was reared in the Shiloh Apostolic Churches of Jamaica and the Waterloo Apostolic Church in Santa Cruz, Jamaica; a church where his great grandparents were charter members. He was baptized in Jesus Name and filled with the Holy Ghost on November 19, 1988 in Hartford, Connecticut.
Bishop Bennett received his Bachelors in Pastoral Studies, his Masters in Educational Leadership and his doctorate in Leadership. He is an author, teacher, business owner, conference host, worshipper, and growth agent just to name a few. As the president and CEO of Damion Bennett Ministries, he travels extensively preparing men and women for citizenship into the Kingdom of God and teaching them to access their right to power, authority and rulership as a immortal agent in God’s kingdom.
His life began to take a negative turn as a series of events spiraled out of control in his life. He was found in the worst nightmare of his life. In 2007, he was accused of crimes against the state of Alabama from charges that allegedly happened in 2003. Not knowing much about the legal system, Damion made many legal mistakes during this process, mistakes that found him convicted by the court and receiving a ten year sentence to serve time in prison for charges he did not commit. However, it was through this nightmare that God began to revisit him in a mighty way about the direction of his life. While incarcerated, Damion found himself ministering to prison inmates weekly, baptizing men in Jesus name and working with them to be filled with the Holy Ghost. Finally, Damion accepted the full responsibility of the assignment of God for his life concerning the work in Africa. God began to show him the assignment in its fullness and Damion heeded to every word. When Damion finally submitted to this calling while incarcerated, God allowed him to leave prison without fully serving his ten year sentence.
When he came out of that long battle, he began to share the good news of the vision of the International Kingdom Church to his acquaintances. No one would receive it and he was rejected because of it. As a result, Bishop Bennett began to separate himself from his ministry obligations as God instructed him. The first directive from God was the same that He gave to Abraham as he found himself carrying the mantle for a new generation on earth. The directive was “get out of your father’s house.” This meant that Dr. Bennett had to totally leave everything in ministry that he had already built and established. This was a new authentic beginning of kingdom building. The International Kingdom Church was born!
Bishop Bennett was ordained to the office of the bishop in the Lord’s church in 2006 by Bishop Leo Smith and and then Bishop Byron V. Johnson now Apostle Johnson, (both PAW Bishops at the time) in Chicago, Illinois). Currently he serves as Chief Apostle and Presiding Bishop of the International Kingdom Churches.
He is currently involved in expanding The International Kingdom Church in Africa. He is fun, relaxed, loves to laugh and enjoys his life in its fullness.
